With its origins dating back to 1924, when Box Hill Technical School for Girls and Women was established and 20 years later, Box Gill Technical School for Boys, Box Hill Institute was established in 1995.
With three campuses in Box Hill, the Institute offers a wide range of higher education courses at a Master, Graduate and Undergraduate level, including Biotechnology, Animal Science, Music, Business and IT and vocational courses such as Hospitality, Engineering, Commerce and Graphic Design.
Notable alumni include George Calombaris, chef, restaurateur and judge on Masterchef, Guy Grossi, owner of Grossi Florentino, Curtis Stone, celebrated chef and Chris Cheney, musician, guitarist and Lead Vocalist for The Living End.
