YIRRAMBOI Festival

YIRRAMBOI Festival is Melbourne’s premier biennial celebration of First Nations arts, culture, and storytelling. Running from 1–11 May 2025, the festival will showcase over 400 Indigenous artists across more than 40 venues. “Yirramboi,” meaning “tomorrow” in the languages of the Boon Wurrung and Woi Wurrung peoples, reflects the festival’s focus on cultural strength, innovation, and connection. This year’s program will feature world premieres, experimental theatre, drag performances, visual art, and interactive experiences, all centered around the themes of Legacy, Joy, Reclamation, and Akin.
